How To Recut Market Flowers At Home

When you purchase fresh flowers from your local market, always make sure to give the stem a fresh cut at home, before they go into your personal vase. 

I bought a bunch of tulips from the market today and notice how dry the stems are. When the stems are this dry, the flowers cannot intake water. 

Give them a fresh snip to open their pores so water can run its course and quench the thirst. 

People ask me all the time if they need to pour a packet of floral food into the water. I say, save your money, and trust the good old plain water to do its magic.
